If you are using version 0.3.0 BETA or later, you may use the autoupdate feature to get the latest stable release. To do this, simply close D3DSN if it is running, and then run D3DSN from the Start Menu. Otherwise, you may manually upgrade by uninstalling your previously installed version, and then downloading and running the Upgrade Installation.
The Latest Stable Release is the latest version that is as bug free as possible. While it may still be possible that bugs exist in the stable version, they are minimal and do not affect the software from running. This is the only version that will autoupdate from within D3DSN.
The Latest Beta Version is the latest version that has not been tested very much. Bugs in this version are very likely, and should only be used by those that are helping test out the software and reporting bugs.
